Last Brighton game, at our wonderful Leeds stadium, Elland Road, I managed to add a figure of 600 professional games. Everything remains in an anecdote with the passage of time. Statistics, data, everything is irrelevant. But it is always acceptable to be grateful, and I will always mention all the people who have helped me on this long journey of 14 seasons in a row enjoying football at the highest level.
To the main protagonists, all the goalkeepers, those who played the most and least, the ones who helped us so much so that the competition and the day-to-day life were wonderful. To each of the technical staff with whom I have shared so many experiences and many of whom have ended up being friends. To people like Víctor Orta, who, in addition to introducing me to English football, has been part of our lives like an older brother.
Of course, the clubs and the people who make it up.
The fans like Leeds, one of the best in the world, without forgetting Elche, Alcoyano…
I always remember the same phrase and that’s how it is, I believe in it so much; “We are everything that the people and contexts that have gone through our lives have impregnated us with.”
So Thank you all.
